Defiance is born
Delivery
Defiance Iowa FD took delivery of Rescue 39 on August 4th of 2010 . The 2009 GMC 5500 chassis is a 4x4 diesel powered crew cab. Equipped with A and B foam capability, 300 gallons of water and a diesel pump plumbed directly into the chassis fuel tank, Rescue 39 will answer both fire and rescue situations. The rescue was also built with dual hydraulic rescue reels and ample storage for hauling equipment for all situations.
